International criminal arrested on North Ossetian-Georgian border

Border guards have arrested a violator with forged documents at
Verkhny Lars on the border of North Ossetia and Georgia. The suspect
is on the wanted list for hitting a pedestrian, Yuga.ru reports.


A Tikhoretsk-Yerevan bus arrived at 12.00 on July 13. The border
guards spotted a nervous man. The 44-year old Armenian civilian had
forged documents. The police identified him. The man is on the federal
wanted list for hitting a pedestrian in Moscow in October 2008. He
escaped the crime scene without helping the pedestrian, who died.


A criminal case was initiated for attempting a crime and illegal
border crossing. The man may get up to 2 years in prison for illegal
border crossing.
