The Mashuk-2011 North Caucasian youth forum has held the Day of
Chechnya. Chairman of the regional parliament Dukhuvakha Abdurakhmanov
participated the event, Yuga.ru reports.
Abdurakhmanov described the state of affairs in Chechnya. He said that
Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov is improving the education system,
industry, sports and culture activities.
The chairman of parliament discussed social projects of the republic
for the coming 50-60 years. He underlined the role of tourism in
economy, realization of investment projects and reduction of
unemployment.
The Chechen Day included exhibitions on art, science. Chechen
photographer Said Khuseyn Tsarnayev presented his photo exhibition
called "Grozny yesterday and today". A concert was held in the
evening.
Mashuk-2011 opened in Pyatigorsk on July 4. Over 2,000 people from all
the Caucasus arrived. The second session of the camp started on July
12.
