Iran doubles electricity export potential

Iranian Energy Minister Namju has said that Iran has doubled its
potential in export of electricity, IranNews reports.


Iran is exporting 1,000 MW and imports a maximum of 500 MW in summer.
The country is preparing licenses for construction of 10 new power
plants. $2.2 billion was provided from the National Development Fund.
Namju said that they had already made the first steps for investment
invitation.
