The opening of the second Forum of the Russian Caucasian youth forum "Dombay-2011" took place today at the alpine resort Dombay (Karachay-Cherkessia). The forum will be held under the motto "Better Together".
The event is organized by the Russian Congress of Peoples of the Caucasus with the support of the Presidential Administration, heads of administration of Karachay-Cherkessia and apparatus of the presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, Yuga.ru reports.
The forum is aimed at creating a solid general civil position among the youth which will integrate the Russian patriotism and identifying the most promising leaders and socially active professionals," the Russian Congress of Peoples of Caucasus said.
The forum brought together representatives of all seven republics of North Caucasus Federal District, more than 40 Russian regions, 109 social, religious, ethnic and patriotic organizations and more than 20 media representatives.
