Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has appointed the new head of
the Agency for Strategic Studies. Director General of Ruskomposit,
Andrey Nikitin, will head the agency. Artem Avetisyan, president of
the NEO Center consulting group, was considered the main candidate for
the agency.
Nikitin was a participant at the Seliger-2011 youth camp. Avetisyan
will head a new section of the agency called New Business.
Director General of Metaver, Dmitry Peskov, will supervise the Young
Professionals section. Director General of the Education and Method
Center for Information-Analytical Work, Vladimir Yablonsky, will
supervise the Social Projects section.
