Georgian hospitals introduce electronic medical records

All medical clinics in Georgia will soon establish electronic medical
records systems to store patients' records. The Ministry of Health
will launch a special program to transfer all the medical records in
an electronic form, Georgia Online reports.

Patients' records will be maintained by a HL7 software used by the
leading medical institutions around the world. The program will be
implemented in Georgia with the support of international experts and
the USAID.
