Azerbaijani schools to undergo accreditation

Schools in Azerbaijan will undergo accreditation in the new school year, Trend reports, citing the ministry of education.

At first 11 pilot schools from various parts of the country will participate in the programme. The principles of accreditation have been developed already. They are similar to the principles of accreditation of universities.

Depending on appraisal, corresponding measures will be implemented to the schools, which fail to pass accreditation.

From 2012 accreditation of pre-school facilities is planned.
