Four suspected terrorists were detained a month ago for an attempt to
bomb the Moscow - Saint-Petersburg Sapsan train, Kommersant reports.
Russian FSB head Alexander Bortnikov reported to President Dmitry
Medvedev that the terrorists had explosives equivalent to 10 kg of
TNT, weapons and a map, RIA Novosti reports.
22-year old Islam Khamuzhev from Kabardino-Balkaria is the suspected
organizer. He was sent to Moscow in 2010, where he met Murad Edilbiyev
from Chechnya and Murad Umayev from Ingushetia. Fyrit Nevlutov from
Mordovia was the fourth terrorist.
The terrorists planned to place a bomb near the Firsanovka railway
station in Khimki. They were caught in early July.
