The Federal Service for Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare
has announced details of the accident of the Bulgaria river cruiser,
which sank in the Volga River on July 10, killing 122 of those on
board, RIA Novosti reports.
Specialists blame the vessel's owner, captain and crew. The dead
captain violated security measures, while the crew acted without
discipline.
Media noted that many crew members survived, while many passengers had
no chances of escape. The captain was blamed for sailing with a
disfunctional engine.
