Georgian director refuses to head Theatre on Taganka

Robert Sturua, the fired director of the Tbilisi Theater, cannot head
the Theatre-on-the-Taganka in Moscow. Sturua was dismissed from the
State Drama Theater of Shota Rustaveli by the Georgian minister for
cultural and memorial conservation, RIA Novosti reports.


The director added that Alexander Kalyagin offered him to be the
permanent guest director at the Et Cetera Theater. He said that he
needs time to think it over.
