Two Irish women murdered in western Turkey

A 17-year-old waiter in Turkey’s Aegean province of İzmir has been detained for allegedly stabbing to death two women from Northern Ireland, Hurriyet Daily News reports.

 The bodies of the two women have been recovered from a wooded area outside central Izmir. The suspect was said to be the boyfriend of one of the women. At first he denied any connection to the women but after an investigation by the local police, he confessed to murdering them.
