Quake hits Caspian Sea

An earthquake took place in the Caspian Sea on Wednesday, Trend reports.

The earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea at 10:37 am on Aug.24, according to the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences' Republican Seismological Service.

The earthquake, which took place 211 km from Baku, measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, was recorded in 65 km depth.

The tremors were not felt.
