About 35,000 pupils will enter first grade of the 2011-2012 academic
year in Yerevan, News Armenia cites the head of the department for
general education of the Armenian Ministry for Education and Science,
Narine Ovanissyan, as saying.
Free school books were provided for grades 1-4, except foreign language books.
Special classes will open with the necessary inventory and chess
manuals. Specialists will work with pupils of this sphere.
