Russian Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District
Alexander Khloponin, has had a meeting with local youth and organizers
of the Mashuk-2011 Youth Forum.
They exchanged impressions about the forum. Nika Kakobyan from
Stavropol proposed a meeting for young bloggers of the North Caucasus
this autumn. Khloponin approved the idea. A TV show called Caucasian
Games was proposed by a TV journalist Ashemez Pkheshkhov from
Karachay-Cherkessia. Another proposals is TV shows as Survivor and
Fort Boyard.
Timur Sageyev from North Ossetia proposed proposed youth chambers in
municipalities and making of elections to youth parliaments more clear
and just.
Commenting on the question of the KVN-player (Club of the Funny and
Inventive) from Stavropol, Oleg Korotky, Khloponin underlined that
star teams of Pyatigorsk, Makhachkala and Vladikavkaz are famous teams
of the region.
The main topic of discussions was the fate of Mashuk, the largest
youth platform of the North Caucasus. It should evolve from a camp for
2 weeks to a year-round center for support of science, business,
social initiatives of youth.
