1,400 Armenian schools opened for 35,948 first-graders in Armenia on
September 1, Armenia Today reports.
Studies at schools start at 8.30 am and at universities at 9.30 am to
reduce traffic intensity. 2,300 Armenian students have started studies
this year. The country has switched to a 12-year education system.
