The water level at Lake Sevan in Armenia has dropped by 5cm. The level
on July 31 was 1900.42 metres above sea level, an excess of 23 cm
compared with the same day in 2010, News.am reports.
71,199 cubic meters of water were used for irrigation in 2011. Water
levels were rising in April-May. They rose by 10 cm in early May, by
about 1 cm daily, and by 12 cm in April.
