The North Caucasus registered 6,100 drug crimes since the start of
2011, which is 4% less than in the first seven months of 2010 (6,400),
RIA Novosti reports.
The drug-control squad uncovered 3,300 cases of drug trafficking, the
police - 2,700.
The number of grave crimes increased to 2,900. 2,600 of them were
registered in Stavropol Territory, 278 in Karachay-Cherkessia.
