Hogg Robinson Group (HRG, UK) has made a hotel rating, APA Economics reports.
Moscow has the most expensive accomodation in hotels. The average
price per room is 295 euros, exceeding the average in 2010 by 1%,
although the prices dropped in 2010 by 12%, compared with 2009.
Second place belongs to hotels in Zurich and Geneva. The average price
in Geneva is 257 euros (-13%), Zurich - 249 euros (+17%). Paris takes
fourth place with 235 euros (+5%), then Stockholm - 228 euros (+10%).
Washington, Sydney, Istanbul, New York City and Oslo are also in the
top ten.
World hotel prices increased by an average of 4% in the first half of
2011. Istanbul's hotel prices increased by 37%. The Asian-Pacific
region had a rise of 7%. Prices in Eastern Europe dropped by 6.6%,
except in Kiev and Bucharest (+4%). London hotels increased their
prices by 2%, reaching 177 euros.
The average price in North America increased by 4%, except Los
Angeles, Toronto and Montreal.
