The Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation has established that the Republic of Ingushetia is on the leading position in the ranking of the viability of regions, the press service of the republic reports. The viability coefficient of Ingushetia is 22.4, Yuga.ru reports.
The coefficient depends on demographics and is calculated based on the difference between the number of births and deaths during the same period.
According to the Federal State Statistics Service, the most difficult situation with demographics is in Tula, Novgorod, Tver and Pskov regions.
