Chechnya marks Republic Day today. The holiday's other name is the Day
of Civil Consent and Unity, Yuga.ru reports.
The day was created by Chechen Leader Ahmat Kadyrov. Separatists
called it the Day of Independence of Ichkeria.
Thousands of students, pupils and members of youth organizations will
make marches. Activists of the "Ramzan" and "Putin" patriotic clubs. A
car rally will also be held with Russian and Chechen flags.
A concert will be held with senators of the Russian Federal Council,
MPs, Chechen government members and other officials.
