Armenians will have three days off in a row from September 10 to 12
due to the Commemoration of the Departed Day right after the Holy
Cross Day, News Armenia reports.
The day will be marked on September 11.
The Commemoration of the Departed Day comes after each of the main
holy days such as Christmas and Baptism, Holy Resurrection,
Transfiguration of the Lord, Assumption, and the Holy Cross Day.
The first day off for the commemoration was set on June 26, 2008,
proposed by the Echmiadzin.
