Georgian economic growth reached about 5% in April-June

Georgian GDP reached 5.848 billion laris, Business Georgia reports.


GDP in 2011 increased by 4.7%, the deflator by 10.7%, compared with 2010.


The real GDP growth was 5.2% in the first two quarters 2011, the deflator – 11.9%. GDP per capita was 1 308.5 laris.


Most of the GDP comes from industry (16.5%), then trade (15.9%), state management (12.2%), transport and communication (11.3%), agriculture (9.8%) and healthcare (6.3%).
