Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov ordered the Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Policy, Mohmad Akhmadov, to present Zargan Ependiyeva from Shali with an automatic wheelchair for saving a Russian soldier.
The woman covered a lieutenant from fire in November 2000, resulting in her becoming disabled. Ependiyeva received a medal for courage in March 2004. She underwent a total of 5 surgical operations in 11 years.
