Zhogorku Kenesh noted the leadership of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in nuclear disarmament and peace and spoke for Nazarbayev to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on September 29, Trend reports.
Speaker Akhmatbek Keldibekov filed a request to Norway to award Nazarbayev.
A member of the Ar-Namys faction, Kanybek Imanaliyev, said that the Kyrgyz Parliament is becoming a “flatterer”.
Keldibekov replied that he disagrees with Imanaliyev, because Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan have close ties and need to mutually support each other.
