The Caucasian Muslim Administration wants religion to be taught at school, Trend reports.
Deputy Chairman of the Administration, Haji Sabir Gasanli says that schools in 19 Russian regions have religious lessons and train teachers for the subject.
Such experiment was held at a school in Baku, it turned out to be fruitful.
Sabir says that teaching religion at school does not mean namaz. It means basic information about Islam and other religions, he noted.
