Georgia to be modernized by 2015

Georgia must be modernized by 2015, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said at the opening of the Teacher’s Center. 400 teachers were at the opening, Georgia Online reports.

Georgia will have a low unemployment rate and high education level, advanced infrastructure and modern industry, the president noted.

Saakashvili believes that a good education system and an educated society will realize modernization. The president talked about the Jeoseli classes at schools and said that such rooms will be opened in all schools of Georgia.

He reminded his listeners that some schools face poverty. Allowing children from low-income families to use computers and books gives them a chance for education to achieve success and help their families.
