Two people missing in landslide found in Armenia

Rescuers have found the bodies of two people missing in a landslide in the Tavush Region of Armenia this morning, Armenia Today reports.


A Mercedes C 220 was found at 10.28 am with 38-year old Armen and 47-year old Mekhaka Sorsumatyans inside.


The landslide happened at the 83rd km of the M6 highway, on the Vanadzor-Bagratashen-Ayrum section. A 130-meter patch of land started moving. 72-year old Norik Mirzoyan from Lchkadzor, 19-year old Artur Akopyan from Georgia and 62-year old Gurgen Akopyan from Georgia are still missing.
