Today the attendees of the International Humanitarian Forum that is being held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku issued a declaration, in which they called upon the UN, UNESCO and other international bodies to struggle against civilizational dissent and establish adequate international and inter-faith dialogue.
The head of the Baku branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Nargiz Pashayeva, who attended the forum, said that multiculturalism is an essential part o today's world.
She also hailed the positive role Christianity, with its idea of clemency, and Islam, with its concept of justice, played in the history of mankind.
