The head of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Professor Yefim Pivovar calls the International Humanitarian Forum held in Baku a 'unique' event.
"Political and economic forums are often being held but there is only one humanitarian forum, the International Humanitarian Forum held in Baku," Professor Pivovar says.
The Russian scholar also said that it's remarkable that Azerbaijan hosted this forum. "Azerbaijan is a very good place for such events, prominent scientists, Nobel prize winners, famous artists are welcome here," professor believes.
As Vestnik Kavkaza has already reported, the International Humanitarian Forum was organized on the initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
