The head of inter-regional management of the FMS in the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander Meshcheryakov said, that labor migrants do not adversely affect the situation of unemployment among the local populationin the region, Yuga.ru reports.
He added, that the influx of migrants creates additional stress on the job market in the North Caucasus Federal District, but migrants do not take jobs away from the Russian citizens because mostly they are involved in unskilled labor.
