Property belonging to the Holy See of Echmiadzin will be returned to the
Armenian Church, according to a bill passed today in parliament in its first
reading. The bill will release the property of Armenian Apostolic Church
from taxation, News Armenia reports.
The preliminary list of the property due to be exempt from
taxes includes, amongst other things, villas and football fields. The Prime Minister
stressed that the list will be approved by the Government and will consist
