Grozny takes 13th position in the list of top 100 cities with auspicious residences, composed by the Institute for Territorial Planning Urbanica, Grozny-Inform reports.
It is the only city in the top-20 list from the North Caucasian Federal District. Grozny is ahead of Kazan (14th position), Sochi (21st), Stavropol (42nd) and Vladivostok (99th). Surgut is leading the list, followed by Saint-Petersburg and Moscow taking 5th and 9th positions respectively. Makhachkala, the Dagestani capital, concludes the list.
Grozny has been fully rebuilt in the last 10 years. It has high rates of construction of housing, transport and communication infrastructure at a low cost of housing and consumer goods.
Grozny has beneficial climate conditions and ecology.
