Azeristilikteddzhkhizad (heating company) plans to have all old houses provided with central heating in Baku and other district centers of Azerbaijan, the deputy head of the company, Ilham Mirzaliyev told Trend on Thursday.
The company is realizing state programs, including the program for socio-economic development of regions and a program for Baku and its outskirts.
About 200 facilities had heating restored, 141 of them are residential buildings, along with 24 schools, 10 nurseries and other social facilities. There will be 357 boilerhouses active in 2011-2012, compared with 166 in 2005, Mirzaliyev said.
Preparation for heating will start on November 15. New equipment, including foreign models, were purchased for boiler facilities. The number of people willing to get heating has increased this year. Central heating has proven to be more economically efficient, ecologically safe and secure.
