Russian financial flows to Armenia increase by 17.9%

Russian money transfers by individuals to Armenia have increased from $108.6 million in the first 9 months of 2010 to $127.9 million in the same period of 2011, News Armenia reports.


Russia transferred about $13.4 million in September 2011, an increase of 33.3% compared with September 2010. 86.3% of the sum belonged to individuals and about 53.5% were transferred from the republic.


Cash flows through banks reached about $123.3 million, compared with $111.6 million in September 2010 (+10.5%). ($1- 378.98 drams).
