The Russian and Jewish communities in Azerbaijan have written to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and the Director General of the All-Russian State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company, Oleg Dobrodeyev, for the insults against Azerbaijan by radio host Vladimir Solovyov.
In his radio program "Morning with Vladimir Solovyov. Full contact" on Vesti FM on November 1, 2011, the host made insults, Azerbaijani MPs Mikhail Zabelin and Yevdoy Abramov said in their letter, Trend reports.
Solovyov said that a drop of Armenian blood causes inhuman and beastly rage. He called the Azerbaijani audience "crud" for "opening their dirty mouths to Russian citizens". Solovyov also tried to present Azerbaijan as a "racist state".
The letter to Medvedev says that such statements are extremt and bolster inter-ethnic tensions. The MPs demand just punishment for the words.
