Today Baku has had its first snowfall this year. Cold weather will remain in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry for Ecology and Natural Resources told Trend on Saturday.
Temporary downfall is expected, intensive in some areas, and there will be strong north-westerly wind. Nightime and daytime temperatures will range between 0 to 4 degrees Celsius.
Despite unfavourable weather conditions, Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku continues operating in normal mode. Not a single flight has been cancelled or delayed.
Absheron is expected to have rain, the day will be cloudy, without rain. Winds will be north-westerly and moderate. Night temperatures will be between 0 and 2 degrees, with daytime temperatures ranging from 3 to 5 degrees.
It will be partly cloudy on Wednesday, mainly without downfalls. Night temperature will be 2 to 4 degrees, with daytime temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees.
