A public center for social services will be open in the capital of Karachay-Cherkessia on January 1, 2012 . The center will bring together 33 urban and regional offices of social home care for elderly and disabled people, Yuga.ru reports. The center will be service about 2,5000 people.
The center will monitor people in need of social care. It will provide assistance to elderly and disabled people who find themselves in difficult situations and in dire need of social assistance or domestic help. It will become the first center to assist elderly and disabled people at home.
