Georgia has cleared almost all roads on heavy snow that fell overnight, Trend reports.
Snowfalls blocked traffic on all Georgian roads, especially Eastern Georgia. Heavy snows at Shida Kartli and Mtskheta-Tianeti made a 35-40 cm layer. Road services were clearing it the whole night.
Traffic was complicated at the Rikotsky Gorge, where the central highway connecting Western and Eastern Georgia runs. Heavy snowfalls were registered in Tbilisi.
Roads at the Goderdzi Gorge still remain closed due to a meter layer of snow. 4 vehicles were stuck in the area. Passengers were evacuated.
