The head of the Russian Council of Muftis, Ravil Gaynutdin, addressing attendees of the 7th Islamic forum 'Russia and the Muslim World' said that the body he leads pays special attention to the problems of young people and education.
"Russian Muslims do not live purely in the Caucasus. They are widely spread throughout the territory of Russia. Spiritual leaders are their guides and mentors," Gaynutdin said.
The chief Mufti also said that Russian Muslims support Russia's unity and territorial integrity and oppose any idea of disintegration.
