Saif al-Islam, son of ex-Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, has been arrested on the south of Libya on Saturday, RIA Novosti reports referring to Al Arabiya television and Libyan Justice Minister Mohammed Al-Alagi.
In October, Interpol and the International Criminal Court (ICC) have called for Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi to turn himself in. Interpol said both institutions would provide his safe passage to The Hague where he is wanted for crimes against humanity, including murder and persecution.
