Azerbaijani Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov met with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chengez Khan Jamal, reports AZE.az.
Abbasov recalled intergovernmental agreement of 2005, after which the connections between the two countries in the sphere of information and communication technologies were strengthened. He also mentioned the training of new personnel in the field of IT and the courses for the local professionals to share experiences with Pakistan .
The Minister highly appreciated the organization of mutual visits for closer cooperation, noted the effectiveness of the working group established between the respective associations and enterprises of both countries to expand mutual cooperation.
In turn, the guest expressed satisfaction with the participation in the International Exhibition of Telecommunications and Information Technology Bakutel 2011 and 29th meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH).
