Turkey to invite organizations of ethnic minorities for work on new Constitution

The Turkish parliamentary commission for approval of the new Constitution will determine the list of organizations of national minorities to be involved in development of the new Constitution, News.am reports.


Members of three subcommissions will meet with ethnic minorities to choose organizations. Their final list will be composed next week. The commission will have to choose from a list of 77 Greek, 52 Armenian, 19 Jewish, 10 Assyrian, 3 Chaldean, 2 Georgian and one Bulgarian national minorities.
