Mohsen Mozaffari, Director of the Department for Labour and Employment of the Ministry for Cooperation, Labour and Social Support, has announced that by the end of the 5-year development program (by 2015) there will be 100,000 Iranians working abroad, Iran News reports.
The official said that Iranian contractors are currently realizing about 400 projects in 32 foreign states. The ministry has contacted them and consulted on use of labour abroad.
Iranian workers are mainly operating in states of the Gulf, Middle Asia and South-East Asia. Social problems families of Iranian specialists working abroad may face, are being solved by Iranian embassies.
Mozaffari said that Iran has about 800 employment center with 39 of them concentrated on labour in foreign states.
