Armenia had 13,609 crime cases in January-October 2011, rising by 6% compared with the same period in 2010, News Armenia reports.
Most crime incidents happened in Yerevan - 6,965 (+12.6%), the lowest level was registered in the town of Vayots in the Dzorskaya Region.
2,880 offenses were against people, 2,800 - against public order and security, about 5,000 against property and over 1,000 were economic crimes.
Some 1,880 cases were initiated for crimes against the state authorities and administration.
