Turkish PM recovers from surgery in Istanbul

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had intestine surgery on November 26 and was discharged from hospital on November 29. He is recovering in his residence in Istanbul, TRT reports.


Many citizens are heading to Uskudar to wish the PM recovery. A long queue of people willing to put a signature in the guest book appears from time to time.


Erdogan is expected to visit Doha for the summit of the Alliance of Civilizations on December 10. Until then he is expected to stay in Istanbul.
