Well-known journalist Hajimurad Kamalov, co-founder of the Chernovik paper and Director General of Svoboda Slova, was killed in Makhachkala last night, Interfax reports.
Kamalov was shot on the Gajiyev Street, not far from the Svoboda Slova office. The Dagestani Directorate of the Investigative Committee is studying the case.
