Police prevented the theft of oil at the 240th km of the Grozny-Baku pipeline at the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan on December 15, Yuga.ru cites Chernomortransneft.
A patrol at the Manas Village found horizontal drill with a tie-in of 90 meters, a 1.5 km metal pipe attached to the pipeline leading to a refinery. There were pumps and 8 pipes 10 meters long with a 50 mm diameter.
Witnesses say that there were 4 people involved in the oil theft. They escaped. Police are searching for them.
