The Economist said that the number of employable people in Iran reached 25.7 million in 2010, with unemployment at 13.2%, Iran News reports.
The figures are to reach 26.4 million and 14.1% respectively this year.
The number of employable people will reach 27 million in 2012 and 27.7 million in 2013 with an unemployment rate of 15%.
The employable population will increase to 28.4 million in 2013 and 29.1 million in 2015. Unemployment in 2014 will hit 15.5% and fall to 15.1% in 2015. Iran expects 29.7 million employable people in 2016 and unemployment of 16.3%.
