China to provide Armenia with medical equipment

China is likely to provide Armenia with medical equipment and 88
ambulances by the end of this year, News Armenia reports, citing the
Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration.

The Armenian Vice-Premier, Minister of Territorial Administration
Armen Gevorkyan met the Chinese delegation headed by the Chinese
minister of commerce, Fu Ziying. The Chinese minister noted that the
program of technical support of Armenia is significant for Armenia and
the healthcare of its regions.


The new ambulances for Armenia are part of the program of modernizing
the healthcare system. They are adapted to Armenian climate
conditions.


Within the framework of the visit to China in April-May, Armenian
President Serzh Sargsyan met the head of the Chinese corporation
HIGER, Wu Wenmen, who said that the corporation specializes in the
production of city and tourist buses and is ready to work on the
Armenian market.
