Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has marked his 44th birthday in Batumi, starting from visits to the municipal canteen for the poor in Batumi, where he met old people and gave gifts.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulation letter to his Georgian counterpart.
Mikheil Saakashvili was born in Tbilisi on December 21, 1967. He left school N51 in Tbilisi with a gold medal.
He graduated at the Institute of International Relations (Department of International Law) of the Kiev State University in 1992. Saakashvili received a master’s degree in law at the Columbian Law School in New York in 1994. He also studied at the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasburg, the Academy of European Law in Florence and the Hague Academy of International Law.
